Remember, Remember the Knits of November

The beginning of November kicked off with a bang and the sparkles and bitter chill of bonfire night. It is easy to feel uninspired now that the clocks have gone back and the winter nights are upon us. But don’t sigh just yet because November also marks the month of Stylist Live, and we joined hundreds of pop-up boutiques for the weekend, to give you the inspiration we all desperately need to shape up our winter wardrobes to tackle the frost and discover the trends that will rule 2019. Stylist Live, held in London at Olympia Park boasts a weekend of empowerment, entertainment and influence. Making it the perfect festival for Iggy & Burt to attend. This November we want to help you keep the bitterness of winter at bay and brighten your days with our range of natural sustainable winter knits, from chunky to cashmere blends.

And yes… we can totally hear your high-pitched ooo’s and ahh’s of interest. So if you were not able to attend Stylist Live this weekend then we are here to bring you some winter inspiration through the form of this seasons Iggy & Burt collection.  So here are our top three picks of Iggy & Burt jumpers that will help you to feel both cosy and on trend this November:

First off, we have the Abstract Fairisle Jumperin electric blue. This jumper is perfect for the transitional period of Autumn to Winter or an alternative Christmas jumper. It is also available in black (making it highly tempting to order in both colours!) In either electric blue or black, the bold pattern scheme definitely makes it the centre piece to any outfit. It is a real stand out piece this season and 100% brightens up those dark mornings. Be brave and team it with a bright red lip or layer up over jeans for a casual vibe.

The Burt Roll Neck Lambswool Jumper is an elegant and classic staple piece that everyone should have in their wardrobe. As well as being a chunky knit, the cable knit mimics the style of a traditional arran jumper whilst the lambswool makes for a much more breathable and insulating wool that is praised for its soft and light texture. The white roll neck jumper is a clean and fresh winter warmer which we recommend wearing in a larger size for a 90s grunge look this November.

Ahh, the Classic Crew Neck Jumper. This trusty jumper will become your best fashion friend all year round whilst its cashmere blend acts like a constant hug. It is a staple piece that will never go out of style, whether you are teaming them with your high waisted leather skirt or with those really cool dungarees you used to have with the embroidered flowers attached to the pockets…whatever trends you follow in the years to come, the classic crew neck jumper will always be along for the ride!
